Patient FAQ

Patient FAQs

Shouldn’t I have these tests administered by a specialist?

Actually, the test will be administered by a technician who is a specialist with that specific test. Your doctor will be close by as needed since you will take the test in your doctor’s office. To go to a specialized clinic or doctor’s practice for the test will mean additional time, money and inconvenience.

Why are these tests necessary?

Your doctor has decided that it is in the best interest of your health to have a diagnostic test. The test results will give your doctor more information about your current health so that he or she can determine the best course of action for you. The tests are painless and won’t take too much of your time.

What are the benefits to me of taking this test?

Knowledge is power. The test will give your doctor valuable information about your current health so that he or she can work with you to determine the best way to improve your health or maintain your current health.

Will this test cost me additional money?

Frontera’s friendly staff will help determine whether or not your insurance plan covers the tests.

How long before I get the test results back?

Frontera strives its best to deliver the test results to your physician within three business days after the test has been administered.

Who will administer the test? My doctor?

No, a trained and certified clinical staff member of Frontera will administer your test. He or she administers these tests daily, so is an expert on making it as effective and hassle-free as possible. The test will be administered in your doctor’s office, so your doctor will be close by if needed.

Why are the tests done in my doctor’s office?

The tests are done in your physician’s office for your convenience. Wouldn’t you rather go to an office that you know and where you are comfortable instead of having to find another office possibly in a large medical complex?
