Prior to joining Frontera, Sam served as the Chief Financial Officer for community Infusions, a start‐up company in the infusion space. Before that, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Niznik Behavioral Health, a national service provider specializing in alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers and addiction recovery services. Sam also held various management consultant roles in healthcare and real estate, advising clients on strategic, financial, and digital transformations.
Sam has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Commerce (Finance) from the University of Madras in Chennai, India, and an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is also a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Sam lives in Arlington, TX with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he enjoys playing music and going on high altitude treks.
Richard is a Co-Founder of Frontera Strategies, and spends most of his time working with Frontera’s clients to enhance their partnership with Frontera as well as developing new partnership opportunities.
Richard is actively involved in his community. He is active in his Church, having served as a Youth Leader, Finance Chairman and on the Personnel committee. He has also been a board member of his neighborhood HOA. He is a big supporter of the Living for Zachary Organization and served as the 2015 Honorary Co-Chair of their Heartbeats Gala.
A native of Corpus Christi, he has lived in the DFW area since 1982. He started his career for 9 years with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), then 12 years between a technical training and dotcom startup as a sales professional before he switched his focus to healthcare. He resides in Colleyville with his wife Stefanie, and they have two college-age children. He is known to fire up his smoker on the weekends and cook for his whole neighborhood. He may ask you if you have “ever smoked a turkey” within the first few minutes of meeting him. He is a collector of several vintage trucks and loves driving around town during the weekend.
Ches spends most of his time focused on business development, strategic relationships and driving innovation within the business. He co-founded the business in 2001 and remains actively involved in its growth.
He is actively involved in his community. He has been a member of the Dallas Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization since 2006 and served as a board member for four years, including as President in 2014. He is a member of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas, which helps employees give back to others in their communities through community service. He is a big supporter of the Living for Zachary Organization and served as the 2015 Honorary Chair of their Heartbeats Gala. He also serves on the Board of Advisors for The College of Healthcare Professionals.
A native of south Texas, he has lived in the Dallas area since graduation from TCU’s Neely School of Business with a BBA in Marketing in 1992. He started his career as a sales professional in the technology industry. His experience includes working for multi-billion dollar companies to start-ups.
He enjoys spending time with his family, which include his wife Caroline and their two children. Weekends are often spent going to the kids’ sporting events, cooking out or entertaining friends. You will have a hard time beating him at trivia and soon figure out that he doesn’t take himself too seriously.
Nate is a founding partner at Frontera Strategies, and focuses most of his time on business development and creating strategic partnerships for the company.
Originally from Dimmitt, TX (the other Big D), he graduated from Texas Tech in 1989 with a BBA in Marketing. His professional background has included sales, sales management and marketing positions in the newspaper and technology industries prior to migrating to healthcare in 2001.
Since he is an empty nester with two college-age children, most of his free time is spent with his wife. They reside in Flower Mound, TX, and enjoy travelling, outdoor activities and working out together. He is also active in his church in Flower Mound, where he has served on various boards throughout the years. Nate serves on the Board of Advisors for the College of Health Care Professionals as well as Brightwood Capital Advisors’. He has also served on the board for the Dallas Chapter of the Amerian Heart Association’s Heart Walk. Nate has a passion for sports (especially college football), and enjoys going to at least one bucket-list sporting event a year.
